Age 18

Cayden’s journey began when he was just 11-months old. As an infant, Cayden was a happy and alert baby. As time progressed, he began to lose those milestones.

After a trip to the emergency room, his family learned that the mass in Cayden’s head was a tumor called ATRT. Cayden successfully had his tumor removed; and began the fight of his life.

After nearly four years of chemotherapy and radiation, it seemed the closer he got to the finish line, the more obstacles he had to overcome. During this process he lost his hearing. Cayden continues to be

Cayden is about to embark on his senior year of high school! He is really enjoying high school and is looking forward to this upcoming year. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and family, cooking, and traveling.

Last year, Cayden was voted to the junior homecoming court. This year, he's volunteering at the City of Pinellas Park as a teen camp counselor. Cayden also volunteered this past summer helping families learn ASL Sign Language and earned his learner's permit. After high school, Cayden plans to attend college.
