Hudson

On June 23, 2024, just two and a half weeks before his second birthday, Hudson’s family woke to the sound of him having a 10-minute seizure on the baby monitor.

They are endlessly grateful for the emergency department physician who ordered a CT scan of Hudson's brain, which revealed a mass in his left temporoparietal lobe. Hudson was immediately airlifted to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, where he underwent a full resection on July 25 and was discharged home just three days later. Pathology later revealed the mass to be a non-metastatic MYC subtype ATRT.

Following his diagnosis and successful surgery, Hudson began the ACNS0333 protocol on August 15, 2024. Over the following months, he endured five rounds of chemotherapy, three stem cell transplants, and 28 sessions of focal radiation. 

On April 4, 2025, Hudson triumphantly rang the bell. Hudson remains in surveillance with MRIs scheduled every 3–4 months. 

His most recent scan, which fell on the two-year anniversary of the discovery of his tumor, showed no evidence of disease.
