Jace

Jace was diagnosed at 3 weeks old with a spinal tumor. Then found a secondary tumor on his kidney. Once both tumors/kidney were removed, he underwent 2 rounds of chemo and then 3 rounds of high dose chemo with stem cell rescue. He completed proton radiation to his back and abdomen last summer. He relapsed February 2021 in his cerebellum. Tumor was removed. One dose of radiation was had. 

Jace is currently cancer free and in the process of starting an at home chemo. He has a lot of nerve damage from the original spinal tumor, so he is not able to walk or crawl- but he doesn’t let that stop him from exploring the world.

Update on 3rd Birthday - July 2022

• Jace is still receiving chemo at home but handling it so well. Praying for stable scans next month.

• Jace will be starting preschool next month!

• Jace loves to be in his wheelchair and go so fast!

Update on 4th Birthday - July 2023

Jace had new tumors appear since his last birthday, but they are now gone, and he is in remission. He started school last year, and it’s one of his favorite things!
