Jeremiah

Age 9

Jeremiah is an extraordinarily resilient warrior with a big heart and even bigger dreams. Whether he’s outdoors fishing, playing with his favorite John Deere tractors, or spending time building with Legos, Jay brings endless joy to everyone around him. When he grows up, he wants to be a doctor so he can help kids just like himself!


Jeremiah’s ATRT Journey


Diagnosis & Treatment Begins

December 2019

Jeremiah was diagnosed with ATRT at two years old and began his treatment journey.


NED Status Reached

September 2022

Following the completion of his treatment, Jeremiah achieved No Evidence of Disease (NED) status and maintained clear routine imaging and surveillance.


Transition to Annual Monitoring

October 2023

Celebrating nearly four years post-diagnosis with continued clear scans, Jeremiah transitioned into routine annual scan surveillance and began homeschooling.


Five Years Post-Diagnosis

October 2024

Remained in continuous remission, maintaining semi-annual to annual scan surveillance while enjoying family trips to West Virginia and Oklahoma/Arkansas.


Late Effects Monitoring

October 2025

Continued clear scans and NED status. As part of long-term survivorship care, his family and medical team began monitoring and managing late effects of treatment, including hearing loss and testing for migraines.


Seven-Year Milestone

October 2026

Jeremiah approaches seven years since his initial ATRT diagnosis, undergoing his regular annual imaging and survivorship follow-up testing this autumn.
